  More Maker Adventures Camp

  For Primary Campers: Ages 3-6
  Location: Hillbrook

  The “S” in STEAM stands for science, and during this camp we “build” a laboratory and conduct a variety of exciting science experiments. Additionally, we will continue to explore aspects of the MSNV makerspace, and delve into the joys of woodworking. Finally, we will try our hand at a variety of coding activities available to young makers.

• Zoo Safari Camp

  For Primary Campers: Ages 3-6
  Location: Valleybrook

  Join us on a safari expedition where we will explore and “observe” wild animals. Safaris can be found all over the world. We will learn about the natural habitats where animals live and how zoos re-create these habitats. We will read many books, participate in arts and crafts, and have fun cooking experiments relating to the zoo.

• Gaming Camp

  For Elementary Campers: Ages 6-12
  Location: Hillbrook

  Beat the August heat by joining Mr. Baylen and Mr. Dave for a week of Gaming Camp! Friends are invited to join our group of gamers as we explore a variety of gaming genres such as: strategy games, role-play fantasy games as well as online multi-player gaming. During our week we’ll also learn about game theory, game design, gaming etiquette and online gaming safety. WARNING: World domination may be involved at some point during our camp! Graduated sixth-year students are also welcome to join our group as “Counselors-in-Training.”

  Puppet Show Live! Camp

  For Primary Campers: Ages 3-6
  Location: Hillbrook
  Ms. Laura Bellinger and Ms. Ashley Portch

  This week of camp we will be working with and making different types of puppets and puppet theaters. Some of the projects the children will be making will be finger puppets, hand puppets, shadow puppets and marionettes. The children will be learning stories that can be acted out with their puppets. We will have a puppet theater both indoors and outdoors for the children to act out their own stories. Puppet camp will encourage the children’s imagination and creativity.

• Moving Up Camp

  For Elementary Campers: Ages 6-12
  Location: Hillbrook
  Ms. Elizabeth Kyvig and Amanda Glithero

  Reserved for students who will be new to our elementary program next school year. Information will be sent directly to those students. Next fall, your child will be making the big step of transitioning from the primary program to the elementary! Our students look forward to joining the elementary class with great excitement and often a bit of trepidation. To help your child experience a smooth and comfortable transition, we have reserved a special orientation week this summer, open only to students entering lower elementary for the first time.

• Top Chef Camp

  Students will learn to become a Top Chef, having some fun competition while preparing dishes that have been prepared on the hit TV show! Students will learn kitchen safety, techniques, and skills to help them become a Top Chef!
