2013 Summertime Fun at MSNV

Our fun-filled summer of discovery and creativity helps children grow as they explore, make friends, and learn new skills. We offer themed weeks that fit the needs and interests of preschoolers through sixth graders, incorporating Montessori principles that foster independence and freedom with responsibility. Early morning and late afternoon care is available. Please see the flyer describing a special Montessori Mornings program for ages 18-30 months, held at both our campuses.

Our camp programs are led by our own Montessori teachers and staff at Hillbrook, our 3- acre Annandale campus near the George Mason Regional Library and Valleybrook, our campus in Falls Church located in the Sleepy Hollow neighborhood. MSNV’s camp program runs between June 17 and August 16 at the Hillbrook campus. The Valleybrook campus will have camp between July 8 and August 23. Programs are not offered the weeks of July 1-5 (4th of July holiday week). Please see the registration form for beginning and ending times of each weekly program. Children staying beyond that time will join afternoon extended day.

Daily nutritious snacks are provided in the morning and in the late afternoon. Campers staying be-yond the morning hours bring their own lunch. In addition to the themed programs, Primary campers are exposed to beginning Montessori work and enjoy weekly gymnastics. Our elementary programs often include field trips. Outdoor time on our spacious playground is a part of each day, both in the morning and in the afternoon.
