Montessori Information
In carrying out the mission of MSNV, our efforts directly benefit the development of the child's mind, body, and spirit. Families build a community spirit by sharing the work, planning and governance of MSNV through our cooperative organization. The school follows the method first developed by Maria Montessori. We provide the following resources to help the MSNV community understand the Montessori method.

The Montessori Method
"Education," wrote Maria Montessori, "is a natural process which develops spontaneously in the human being. It is not acquired by listening to words, but by virtue of experiences in which the child acts upon his environment." ()
