2008-2009 MSNV Tuition, Fees, and Financial Information

Application Fee

A nonrefundable application fee of $75 must accompany all applications for enrollment.

Annual Tuition

	Pre-primary, 1/2 day, age 2 in September
		five days per week, 8:45 - 11:45 a.m.	$ 8,900

Quarterly and Annual Tuition Plans may be chosen in lieu of the monthly plan. There is a tuition discount applicable if the quarterly or annual plan is selected.

A non-refundable deposit is required for each child upon enrollment. The deposit is applied to tuition.

Financial Aid

MSNV has a small financial aid program based on need. Families who are already members of our school cooperative are eligible to apply.

Cooperative Assessment

Families enrolling a child in our school for the first time are required to pay a $200 Cooperative Assessment, which is non-refundable. Only one Cooperative Assessment is required for each family.

Work Hours

MSNV is a parent cooperative and as such requires 25 hours of work per family each year. One half of the work hour requirement must be completed before January 31, and any hours outstanding are assessed at $50 per hour. The remaining hours must be completed by June 15, and any outstanding hours are assessed as above.

Special Fees and Services

Included in tuition are fees for health screenings, field trips, school shirt for new students, and standardized achievement tests for elementary children. Occasionally, small fees are charged to cover the expenses of special activities.

2008-2009 EXTENDED DAY FEES

Any child who is enrolled at MSNV is eligible to apply to the Extended Day program. Limited space is available and priority is given to those who register early and use the program on a five day, full year, regular basis, as outlined on the grid below. Any variations from the format below, and/or occasional "drop-in" use of the program will be accepted as space/staffing permits. Parents may sign up for one or several blocks of time, depending on their child care needs, adding the amounts in each block to come up with a total annual fee.

• Annual Registration Fee: $20 per family, upon enrollment in drop-in program anytime during year
• Drop-in rate for occasional use: $9.00 per hour, charged in half-hour increments
• Use between 8:30 and 8:45 a.m.: $2.25 per day
• "Lunchtime" between 12:00 and 12:30 p.m.: $4.50 per day
• Administrative Processing Fee: $20 for each contract change
• Program ends at 5:45 p.m. Late fees apply after 6 p.m.
